Civil Engineering Department of Saffrony Institute of Technology organized a 2-day Technical Visit of 3rd, 5th and 7th-semester Civil engineering students at Sardar Sarovar Dam and Dabhoi-Tilakwada State Highway Project on 21st and 22nd August, 2018.
On the first day, students visited the River Bed Power House, A-Frame, Canal Escape and
Head Regulator of the Sardar Sarovar Project
and got a glimpse of the working and operation of such a massive project.
A visit to the Dabhoi-TIlakwada State Highway Project Batchmix, WMM, and RMC plant of Maruti Infracreations Ltd. took place on the second day. Students also visited the Bridge Construction site at Orsang River and WMM laying work.
