Saffrony Institute of Technology
organized 10 days training program of Creo Software for all Mechanical/Automobile Engineering students in order to enhance the product design & development skills. The training program covers fundamental concepts & a lot of practice sessions
. The training program is from the 5th June to 15th June, 2019.
The training is provided by Mr. Harshil Shah, the Director of Symmetric Solutions, who has 10 years of experience in the field of design through various Industry-based projects.
Creo is a powerful software 
which is a combination of various designing tools. It is popularly used by many leading manufacturing & design companies across the globe. It was designed by PTC (Parametric Technology Corporation) with lots of Applications!
Out of 10 days, the first three days of the training covered, lots of fundamental and practical concepts such as Introduction & understanding of Creo Parametric like how one can use Creo Parametric Interface to Select & Edit Geometry, Features & Models. These introductory sessions were then followed by hands-on practices in which Students got an idea about various tasks mentioned below using CREO software through theoretical as well as hands-on sessions:
- Creating Sketcher Geometry & Using Sketcher Tools & using Datum Features.
- Using Sketches & 3D Wireframe structure
- Creating Holes, Rounds & Chamfers & All types of Patterns
- Creating Sweeps and Sweeps with Variable Sections.
- Advance 3D Modeling Steps
These sessions have resulted in a fruitful and enriching experience for the students.
